Possibly your AV ?. i would download the file from avsim again and reinstall, with your AV turned off. Make sure your AV is set to ask you before it quarantines files. Peter

FS9 or FSX?Make sure that if you do not have the ISG FMS gauges installed that you don't have ISG in the title line or ISGEquipped set to 1 in the TM.ini file.Have you tried loading a flight with a default aircraft and then switching to the 'mouse?Make sure that something didn't install an old copy of FSUIPC. Also, make sure you don't have duplicates of the FSUIPC.dll file--including renamed ones--in the modules folder. You also might try renaming FSUIPC.ini and letting FSUIPC rebuild a new one.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

That means at least one of the three soundbank files is not in the right place. They go into the FS9 main sound folder, NOT the sound folder located in the aircraft-specific subdirectory.RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

You were right i'd put the files in the aircraft sound folder not the fs9 main sound folder. But im still getting the same issue with the aircaft menue. Do you think this could be a windows 7 issue ?

I really don't understand your description of what's happening...it doesn't really tell me enough to picture what you're seeing. Are you using the ISG FMS gauges? Is FS9 installed under a "Program Files" directory?RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

Ok, ive now moved the three sound files into the fs9 main sound folder. But when selecting the aircraft from drop down menue and pressing ok the select aircraft menue still remains on the screen and i am unablr to close it . My fs9 it installed under the Program files x86 directory (which is on my C drive). Also im not using the IGS FMS gauges.

Make sure that the title= line of the airplane does not have "ISG" anywhere on the line, and that ISGEquipped is set to 0 in the TM.ini file (which should be located in the main FS9 directory). If you are using Vista, Windows will do redirection of files to the users\username\AppData\roaming directory, and this can't be disabled even by turning UAC off. Win 7 may also do this. For that reason it's generally not a good idea to have FS (or any other non-system program) located in a "Program Files" directory. It's possible that the OS could interfere with the panel gauge file I/O when it looks for the TM.ini file...you could try copying the TM.ini file to the FS9 directory within the aforementioned directory and see if that helps. Also, have you tried starting with the default C172 and switching to the TinMouse? Try downloading and running Flight1's free FS registry repair tool and make sure the FS9 root directory is properly set. If the three sound files are properly placed in the FS9 \sound directory, it may be that the panel gauge is not finding the right path to FS in the registry, which it uses to build the file paths for the .ini file and the sound bank files. What fixed the panel/aircraft not loading from the menu?RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

I downloaded and ran the resistry repair tool and checked that the 3 sound files are in the correct location. Now some more of panel is starting to work. The only things that wrong are the airspeed indicator has no needle, no panel sounds and the autopilot wont activate. As for what fixed the aircraft not loading i really dont know what fixed it.:(

There was an issue with resource mapping in the V1.30 gauge that could cause the disappearing ASI needle on a few systems. That was fixed in V1.31 and later. When you start the panel, go to the PDCS and make sure that it shows TM II V1.32--if not, you may have placed the updated B732ADV.gau gauge file in the wrong place.Have you updated your DirectX version recently? See the FAQ for details...most sound issues are due to either having the FS2Audio.dll and/or sound files incorrectly placed or missing, or a DirectX 9 install that hasn't been updated.I need more detail than "autopilot won't activate." The A/P will not activate on the ground by design...and will not activate if there is no power source, either. And which A/P are you trying to use--the SP-77, or the SP-177?What OS are you using?RegardsBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO
