Thanks to everyone for replying and posting photos. I've come to one conclusion that probably should have been obvious from the start. Any digital camera with 3 megapixels or greater in the 500 to 800 USD price range is going to give great results. Right now, I'm leaning towards the Nikon Coolpix 4500 so that I can not only use it for day to day pics, but I can also tap it's astrophotography potential.Now, one last question. Any recs as far as best mail order houses for the cheapest prices?Tim
