March 25, 201115 yr I prefer the modeling/textures/sounds of the Warbirdsim over the A2A add-ons. Just personal preference. I have not flown a P-51D in real life though like so many people here though, so I can't comment on the flight dynamics. lol Ark -------------------------- I9 9900K @ 5ghz / 32GB G.Skill (Samsung B) / Aorus Master Mobo / EVGA GTX 2080Ti FTW 3
March 29, 201115 yr Dexter, thank you for the comments! It is great to see such support behind these products and our goals at Warbirdsim!I recently tasked myself with making a bit of a comparison between real life and the simulator environment, and I thought I could share that here as well:

March 30, 201115 yr Are the early versions B/C in the same incredible style or are they not that good? Best regards, Steffen Fight time: NGX 737-700: 37,0h; -800: 47,2h
March 30, 201115 yr Are the early versions B/C in the same incredible style or are they not that good?Hey there Superpilotv2!The P-51B/C's have been undergoing a long-term updating process to bring them up to the same standard as the P-51D products. As the creator of both, I can easily say that no, they aren't on par with each other, but if you want early-model P-51's, I think they hold their own. There is a two-year difference between when the B/C's were released and when the D's were released, and during that time, the developed skill-set and available resources to recreate the P-51D airframe to the nth degree we went to, became available, and so did resources to do the same with the P-51B/C's (which, until the release of the Warbirdsim P-51D's, were already the most accurate visual model P-51 types available). Everything about the Warbirdsim P-51D products, was built new completely from scratch, carrying over nothing from the earlier released B/C's, building off of original manufacturer's drawings which we did not have at the outset of the B/C build. When the update is eventually finished (which is a ground-up deal) hopefully sometime this year, it will be free to existing owners of the B/C's for FSX (but there are other good things in the pipeline as well).

You have won another customer for the early versions. :smile:But in the moment I don´t have the money cause I´m saving for a combat effiency update for my current system. But when it´s done (I hope some weeks after easter.) your planes are on the very top of my purchsing list.Bt. very good work on both, the old and new versions.
