Anybody able to OC for FSX with Asus Bios 1305

I told you, it's a lot more demanding. It also needs like 0.03 more Vcore than Prime in my system to pass. What temps do you have there? with 5GHz and 1.49V I'm pretty sure you are hitting 90ºC+ and thermal throttle is lowering your multi. It's not EIST, just thermal protection probably.Anyway, using this to stress test is probably too much. I like it to test initial OC settings since it takes little time, but for fine tuning my OC I keep using Prime
Yeah, mine needs 0.1 more on the offset, which brings it just below 1.5, to do AVX stable.I didn't run it the whole nine yards yet, but about 8 passed tests, which was temp-stable at 78c. Watercooling baby, oh yeah :Big Grin:But I don't understand why is multi dropping to 44-45. There is no reason, except maybe EIST. Other tests like Prime, normal Linx, they all keep it at 5Ghz without exception.I set the shortterm wattage to 150 and longterm to 130. That should prevent multi dropping too...
just finished a 2 round test with no errors man
Oh this makes me right out mad man...

LOL, I forgot about your WC  I don't think it's thermal throttling then. ConfusingI didn't try IPDT on stock clocks, but disabling the Base Clock Test did the trick. Passed the rest of the test no problem. Will try without OC later

Oh btw... Memtest Fail ist caused by USB Hubs. If I disconnect them, memory is testing without a problem...Disabling EIST did the trick on the multi not dropping in the AVX test. Now is also much more stable.Man, this SB is driving my crazy. Good that they called it a bridge... it's a bridge to the twilight zone :Hypnotized:

Man, AVX is some sh*t for SB... it heats it up at my sys up to 80c, that even at 4.8Ghz. At 5 doesn't seem like stable, I went with Vcore up to 1.51, but not ready to burn some silicon :Shame On You: Prime and normal Linx are stable hours and hours at 5Ghz and about 1.49.

Well I'm back in business. Intel gave me a warranty replacement for my 2600K and I'm once again stable at 4.8 ghz. Had to do a complete reinstall of everything due to the motherboard change etc. Slow going. I'm just glad I'm ready for the soon to be released PMDG NGX. Thanks again for all the help. Thank You Intel!
