What is the meaning of "Location=760,390,1800,1168,\\.\DISPLAY1"

Featured Replies

Hi all,Does anyone know the meaning of "Location=760,390,1800,1168,\\.\DISPLAY1" under [Main] section inside fsx.CFG ?The numbers vary sometimes but don't know what has been altered?Any ideas?

But what puzzle me is: Even I don't move or resize the window, it changes. Just open and close and quit FSX, it changes. :(

The first 2 numbers are the x,y coordinates on your screen of the top left corner of your FS window. The second pair of numbers are the size of the FS window.Best regards.Luis

thanks for the note, Luis. But like I said, I always run FSX in fullscreen. And it is a 2560 x 1600 monitor. No idea what the numbers change and what they represent for.By the way, DISPLAY1 at the end sometimes change to DISPLAY2.I only have one screen however.

If you were to ever run FS in windowed mode, those would be the coordinates and size of the window. Since you don't, I wouldn't worry about it.Best regards.Luis
