This is great news! I can remember Fly Tampa's MDW for FS9... it really got me HOOKED on their products.

For me it was their St. Maarten package for FS9 that got me hooked years ago.

I don't buy airports anymore unless I fly into them several times a month, so I won't get this either, but I'm sure I'll be missing a nice little GEM.

That's the only reason I wont get Midway for some time. If I didn't already have KORD from FSDT I would probably buy Midway, but since they're so close in proximity to each other I will pass for now and save it for one of those times i'm bored and looking for a new airport to get. That's kind of the same reason I didn't buy Buffalo for until recently, just a place I dont normally fly but it ended up being a nice airport as well.

Yes, I noticed you've been missing in action as well. I figured that wood working project you were undertaking has taken away from your sim time. Nice work by the way :-)

Yea thats why. I just told my wife that the project wont be worked on tonight as its time for a KATL - KMDW flight. Thanks for the comment Sean!Jim

I'm surprised at how few people talk about Flight Zone Portaland for FS9! I remember it being in development for at least two years, and when it was released, it was (and probably still is, and always will be) the best scenery produced for that version of FS.It changed EVERYTHING for me... Portland became my home.

:( I am from Chicago and have flown in and out of Midway many times. Fly Tampa if you are reading these posts all I can say is: OUTSTANDING!!!!!! Someone finally got it right!!

Somewhat off-topic: are there any good payware (or freeware) KMSP sceneries for FSX? Would be nice to find a detailed rendition of my home town airport that I often drive past and see planes taking off/landing.

I have both and so far they work extremely well together.The only thing that is missing is a hot deep dish pizza.:(

I might consider buying this. I have a feeling that FSDT's Addonmaneger is causing problems for me. If it does, I'll get Midway for my Chicago flights.

Did you do another FSX re-install already? Hope you are doing one piece at a time, testing in between adding addons so you can pin down the problem this go around.After that 8 page post the other day regarding Addon Manager, I would be willing to bet that Umberto would gladly take the time to help you out as he did in that other thread.

There's some Blueprint scenery for FSX (not sure how good it is though, payware), or the Jim Vile ADEX/AFCAD file that looks a lot better (adds "new" runway etc) , should be in the file libraries.

I reinstalled a third time, yes, but haven't done any testing ever since. I simply got fed up and decided to play a game that works well out of the box: Assasin's Creed Brotherhood. I have started to get the FS itch once again, though, so once I feel my patience is returning, I'll do some testing. Before adding in whatever addon, however, I'm going to thoroughly test a vanilla FSX.
