HiI re read Mr. Randazzo thread again after 12 hours of reading it for the first time, I was only wondering is all the information mentioned is merely a .....Joke ? or part joke and part real, because if you look at http://www.precisionmanuals.com/pages/product/ngx.html you will see clearly that the PMDG-B373NGX is a Boeing licensed product so there are a cooperation between Boeing and PMDG and was repeatedly mention at earlier messages by PMDG, the e mail has as usual a lot of details that goes beyond a joke level!, I just wish that the "Hold Harmless" policy applied in Boeing will apply to PMDG as a partner company , keeping us from mental harm and tell us when the release date is +/- two weeks :)However, being an old man makes me see things differently somehow !! soon we will be enjoying the NGX and nagging PMDG about the B777-200,300ER released date? I guess it's part of the excitement of flight simulator as a hobby.PMDG your work and even jokes is always appreciated and we wish you the best no matter what.Alaa Riad

You may be interested to know that my son has been walking around all day with a pencil mark all the way down his forehead, down his nose and down his chin.Less sophisticated than the PMDG jape, but my daughter pulled the "roll a coin down your face" trick. After she went to work with a pencil around the edge of course.Kids! :( And yes i did help her set him up.

True, but thats nothing new. Flight1 have worked in collaboration with ATR before and now with Cessna.you shouldn't read any more into it than the collaboration we have seen before between developers and aircraft companies.Martin Wilby

Funny!Unbeknownst to so many people, especially since many here don't observe April Fool's or even know what it is,could it make people even more annoyed at the delay? Who knows. Most people now are just sort ofkilling time until this plane comes out. In any event, I'm sure the plane will be lovely since all this time and effort was spent on it.Yesterday's update was welcome news, however, and it satisfies, I'm sure, many people's concerns about the NGX. From what I've been following on the forums, the plane looksoutstanding. I've been buying PMDG's products since the 744 for FS9, and I'm sure, with all PMDG products, the NGX will beuniversally regarded as a premium product.Very truly yours,Tom

In case you have not noticed, this was one big joke. PMDG is not a Boeing company, and Boeing is not holding up release. It is a custom in the USA (and some other countries) to tell a very convincing lie on April 1st. Of course you later reveal that it was just a joke, and everybody get a laugh. PMDG already stated on their website that it was just a joke.

As far as April Fool's jokes go, it was a good one but I've seen one which was simply amazing. I think it occurred back in the 1980's when Australian aviation legend and adventurer Dick Smith announced he was coming into Sydney harbour after having towed a massive chunk of ice all the way back from Antarctica. He had a Water Police escort, TV news helicopters buzzing around and thousands of people lining the shores of the harbour to see this spectacular sight. He practically had an entire country fooled, especially the media. Now THAT is the ultimate April Fool's joke.

Personally I don't think iFly has anything to do with PMDG product. I just found out in a Chinese language forum that iFly products were simply developped by three Chinese aviation enthusiasts. Just like anything else which is made in China. You might not know that China is making its C919, will that have anything to do with Boeing or Airbus?
