Thanks Chris! :) I'm in good company, and take that as an enormous complement. Keep up the brilliant work!

The plan is to release in about three to four weeks now. So far, so good. I've been shooting for the Christmas holiday since March, but I may miss it by a day or two. Still, that's pretty darn good planning if I do say so. :-badteeth

Just caught your other shots, my goodness they are real jaw droppers! Thanks for making our beloved sim just that more realistic, from a real world pilot's point of view, doesn't get better than that! :-wavehttp://fsgateway.com/frank/fs9paibeta.jpg

Hi Chris,I've just read this interesting thread in it's entirity and must commend you on your work. By and large, at night, ground based lighting becomes a pilot's "entire world" (at least visually, not counting instruments and other devices). I look forward to this release.Thanks,Bruce.

Thanks Bruce! :) You're absolutely correct. Got any snow up there yet?

Not on the ground here at 5,000' MSL; this time of year we get prevailing westerlies which become warm (relatively) from compression on the lee side of the Rockies (Chinook winds). But there's lots falling on the wetsren slopes which is where the majority of the ski areas are. Do you fly into EGE at all with SWA?Thanks,Bruce.

Hi Chris:I sent you a email but this is just as easy. Besides someone else may have the same question.I have 3rd party add-on sceneries and from what I've read in this thread that shouldn't be a problem. However, I am a bit concerned how your textures will work with Megascenery's. I'm just not sure how they structured their night scenery. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Actually Bruce, I'm a flight instructor based out of Phoenix, Deer Valley (DVT). If I mislead you, I do apologize. :) The goal is to be on with a regional carrier within about the next year or so, but I'm not there just yet.Never been into EGE, but I was stationed Northeast of Denver in Rapid City, SD for about eight years. We would also (very occasionally) get the benefit of the Chinooks off of the Black Hills. It was usually very cold there in the winter with persistent Arctic Lows pushing in from Canada.

Hi Lamont,These textures should not interfere with Megascenery. My changes will apply only to default texturing. :)

Hi Chris, I was just admiring your screenshots and taking in all the discussion when I remembered I'm using Ruud Faber's FScene textures for the USA and Canada. Any conflicts? I hope not. :-)Best, Rob
