April 26, 201115 yr Hi, I thought I would just post this if anyone else is having issues. Using the 270 series drivers, multiple fsx crashes on exiting fsx, menu selection, map selection and others, but fsx would crash on exit everytime. Went back to the 260's and no problems.RegardsBob Officially retired
April 26, 201115 yr Bob, you can go back to the 270 drivers.Just click quickly to close the enbseries open window on the Desktop, and you will get no more, FSX termination crashes. As soon as you end FSX and you see the Desktop, close ASAP, that open window! That is what is causing the crash, and not FSX itself.

April 27, 201115 yr Sesquashtoo,I see no enb open window. BobNeither do I. Bob, thanks for the head up. Reverting from 270.61 to 266.58 seems to have solved the d3d9.dll error on exit for me too. April 27, 201115 yr Sesquashtoo,I see no enb open window. Bob-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------My apologies!!!! I meant the FPS Limiter window, if you run that program! So sorry. THAT is what causes the FSX exit crash. Close that one!~ I was thinking the frames limiter back background window...but typed enbseries per the O.P. post.
April 27, 201115 yr Author NP,I am on the fence with the frame limiter though. My system even out of the heavy autogen areas where the fps fluctuation is much greater, it still seems to run smoother without the limiter.Bob Neither do I. Bob, thanks for the head up. There seems to be so much of "your mileage will vary", that many because of this dont bother posting as they believe it must be just their system.BobNeither do I. Bob, thanks for the head up.
