What is not simulated in the Quality Wings 757?

Featured Replies

QW757 is a great aircraft and I have logged a ton of time in it. I have used it on Vatsim for short haul, transcon and north atlantic hops without issue. Well worth the money. The sound set for the pw and rr engines is the best sound sets anywhere.

I'll second that! Fantastic realistic sounds with that authentic higher pitched "whistle" you get on the Rolls Royce powered examples.

i'm still wondering how to change the fuel unit to KGS on the overhead panel?

There is no such possibility. At least according to the Qualitywings YT channel.

I've actually recommended the QW757 to several friends who were getting into FS but felt like our stuff was going to be too much for them to handle at first. I have it and fly it myself (the 757 is my personal favorite airliner) and I think it's very good for what it is. I prefer it to the other supposedly more full featured 757 that's out there... It's just a good introduction to how airliner addons work and gets people used to thinking in the right way vs. the default aircraft.
Classic. There's the right way and then there's the default way.

Another thing not previously mentioned is it does not accept FSUPIC "moustrapping" of the controls. I have been able to figure out some of the default commands that are used and map them to hardware but have not been able to get away from the mouse and keyboard which is a big turn off for me.

HelloNice aircraft but this is also the reason I deleted it.It could have been so much better but the Devs have zero interest in making it usable with the hardware which is available.A simple keymapping app would have sufficed, even Feelthere manage to provide one.

This is a awesome aircraft, it really is, i love it. ( dont run out of fuel tho as you loose all controls, the RAT isnt simulated. All you have is pitch trim control, but not roll) Anyway, my question is, Is it possible to entre a alternative airport in the FMC? Yup, iv RTFM.Nothing in there about it. Also, no matter how long or short the flight is, or what load i load in the load manager, my fuel is always... Left wing tanks 14.5 Middle 75.0(i think) Right wing tanks 14.5....So on a short hual flight im practically landing fully laiden with fuel! Can someone poke me with a stick and piont me in the right direction? am i missing something? Thanks

Regards

I like 757 though but never find a fantasy add-on like PMDG or LDS. I prefer the CS ones for its great model and VC, but it does not work nicely with FSUIPC 4.60Whistle.gifIf you have the LDS 767, I suggest you download the POSKY 757 and merge them,FreewareRolling Eyes.gif
