I have added the freeware Garmin KLN90B by Project Tupolev. Its very realistic and I am using it as a backup for the CIVA INS.fs9%202011-04-28%2011-37-15-94%20%28Custom%29.png

It looks like it'd be a good option...but I have never been able to find good documentation for the gauge's use. If you put together a config for it, please include a link to some docs for the KLN90, too.CheersBob ScottColonel, USAF (ret)ATP IMEL Gulfstream II-III-IV-VColorado Springs, CO

AFAIK, you can update only the waypoints database, and not the approaches database. You can update the KLN by using PMDG Airac or FSNAV airac.

Hey, I use the KLN only for backup! Its mean that I am checking if the INS navigating on the orginal route - Its good to know if you entered a wrong coordinate. There is an option to use the KLN with the HDG mode.

you can get it free from the project tupolev forum, they provide info and utilities, the updated version has SID/STAR support.

Looks like a great little expansion to the panel. I'd be interested as well.
