Can't Install Ultimate Terrain with Windows 7

Recommended Posts

I upgraded to a new computer and when I try to install Ultimate Terrain for FS2004 it keeps saying that the file sizes don't match. I've downloaded twice with no luck. This new computer is Windows 7 64bit. Anyone else had this problem? Everything else of FS2004 I've moved into this new computer works fine, except World of AI installer.Paul

UT works fine with Win7 x64... you should have two files in the install directory - one with the .000 extension and the other an .exe file with the red icon, if the you get the 'file sizes don't match' match message there is something wrong with your download. You should use a download manager to get them because one is rather large.DJ

I agree that it's probably not a win7 x64 issue - I've had no problems with itIan

Here also, no issues, even without using a download manager.

On occassion, if you are running an anti-virus program at download, some files may become corrupted. If you downloaded, try turning off the anti-virus and re-download.

I'm running UT USA & Europe with a W7 64 Bit operating system without any problems. I believe I installed the software under a run as administrator option. Also, under the FS9 directory I gave it all rights and properties.Tom
