Using the RealityXP...

Ive had the RXP GNS 530 for a little over a month and havent used it yet. With the default GPS, you can file a flight plan from say YBUD-YBBN.Is there a way to do this via the RealityXP Version? If so, how?

Direct button (D with an arrow through it), enter the ICAO fix.IF you want to file a FP you must manually enter it (exactly how it works irl)

Absolutely, there's a whole section in the Garmin manual on flight plans (I can't recall if the Garmin manual is installed by default or not, you may have to go download the manual from the Garmin site). Is your question more related to whether you can set up a flight plan in the FSX flight planner and use it in the GNS 530? I don't think that's possible. Certainly not possible in the r/w that theRXP product is trying to emulate. Thanks, Bruce.

Ok, but how do you enter the ICAO? I tried typing, but nothing happened. I also turned the knob but that gave me locations.

Inner knob is to enter stuff, outer knob is to scroll to a different line or select the next character. All in the manual :(
