AFCAD Hanging

AFCAD now hangs when I try to OPEN a file. The counter starts and then stops before it gets to the open screen.Has anyone ever seen this?Scanafcad finds no issues.Thanks.JimI'm running Windows XP SP3.Jim

I assume you mean AFCAD 2.21? Have you changed anything on your computer recently? Is this a specific file or all files?Presumably the program opens and the problem comes when you try to open an airport - does this happen with stock airports or just addon airports?

Program is probably corrupted. Try uninstall and re-install v. 2.21.

Hey Guys,Thanks for the ideas.I can click on File / OPEN and then the bar counters start going across then hang. If I click on File and then one of the ten previous AFCADs I opened before, they will open.It is 2.21 and its for FS2004. I added a bunch of scenery, I'll try the reinstall and then back-tracking if I need to.Wasn't there a windows service that needed to be running?Peace,Jim

Fixed. I back-tracked and moved recently added scenery and found the offender. I deleted and re-installed and it tested OK.Thanks.Jim

I think it was KSNA. I removed it and put it back and everything was fine.Jim
