This is what an NG REALLY looks like

Hey Bryan, here' s hoping for an SDK getting to you soon.Once you get used to flying with FS2Crew - and it did take me a while - it's hard to go without it. I use it for literally 100% of my jet flights now. ++ immersion factor. I must say that while I'd use any of the Fs2Crew stuff, the Maddog stands out to me as the best - lots of voice options, the female French F.O. is kind of cool.I would love to see a PMDG 737 NGX version with that degree of attention to detail and SDK integration.
Yes the maddog is awsome as its so well intergrated with Fs2Crew. The "other" 737 also has a very close FS2crew thats well on par with the dog.

Yeah... Bryan did an awesome work there with the FS2CREW.. In fact that kept me flying the Maddog for quite a while even though it was end of 2010 and the VC cockpit looked like being cut with an axe... The "other" 737 VC looks... hm... Chinese, but yet again looking at the You Tube videos I am on the brink of going in for a purchase of the bundle...PMDG NGX with the built in FS2CREW... Oh mama... I anticipate the ultimate FSX add-on couple. Suspecting future real 737NG pilots actually doing part of their type rating on it..

I agree, I own the "other" NG and it's version of FS2crew, and it's a joy to use because of the SDK integration. No more pop up panels, or blind copilot where you have to be sure you set the switches correctly. I'm very impressed, it's nice to have the simulated copilot see the switches as the user see's them. A nice example of this integration is the call to the copilot to set flaps up speed on the climbout at acceleration height. FScrew correctly has the copilot adjust the MCP speed to the exact flaps up manuveruing speed shown in the PFD, saving the pilot from fumbling with the speed dial and allowing him or her to concentrate on following the flight director! You have to see it to believe it! With all the attention PMDG has lavished on the NGX, it would be a huge mistake to not offer an SDK to allow such seamless integration of third party software with their crown jewel of add-on aircraft.

Very much enjoying these videos. Thank you

things I love about the latest Fs2crew are being able to ask for a Vref speed, "Set Vref+10" works flawlesly and the fact that he can read the FMC to get the V speeds and will also change FMC pages on his side. I mean how much more real can you get!!

Well, after reading this thread and the Fs2Crew comments I actually went out this morning and bought that other 737 + the button and voice control versions from FS2Crew to go with it.It's an awesome plane. Would be even better if the exterior model had wheels, and if any of the buttons other than the lights actually worked so I could start it! (just to be fair for a minute - I'm pretty sure there will be some way to fix these sort-of-important issues). So PMDG, help me out here. Make sure you let GoFlight. VR insight, FS2crew etc know how to interface with your 737. We all know it's going to be the best plane ever, but if I can't interface it waith my hardware etc I'm just not going to have as much fun flying it. Guess I'm back to long haul in the 747-800 (hmmm...not great for using hardware with) or short hops in the JS41 (hurrah...lua scripts work!) for a while...
