May 19, 201115 yr Ryan there is perhaps another option you could suggest to the printers. Perhaps get the client to arrange his own collection of the freight. I own an import and distribution company and we get fantastic rates with DHL Global Forwarding. Yes it will be shipped as normal airfreight (not 3 day express) and take up to 14 days to get to me but it is up to 80% cheaper than using an express freight option. Henk Hugo Cape Town, South Africa

May 19, 201115 yr I know that in germany, they have a system called dhl paket intl. I think its around 35euro for up to 30kg. You get a tracking number and insurance up to 1500euro or something like that. Cameron Lett
May 19, 201115 yr I got the manuals and really like them, but an alternative is to buy a "Nook" color eReader and load the .pdf files on it, along with all of your other manuals. I just bought one and they work great. Robert Yunque
May 19, 201115 yr That sounds good!!! ;)It is very good. The delivery time depends on issues like space availability etc on aircraft. I would buy the manuals if i could arrange my own freight :( Henk Hugo Cape Town, South Africa
May 19, 201115 yr Author @reinergu: My brother lives near cologne. Me and my familiy lives in Berlin. Can you just get into contact with me, if we could do something together? Have you already detailled informations regarding the shipping costs to germany? Please contact me: [email protected]The shipping 2 Germany costs 168$ for one piece, I don't know what it'll take 4 two or more. The shipping prices are not actually being set by us - those are the direct prices from FedEx and USPS based on the weight/size of the package and the destination. The question was more, if we can expect some percent off the price (not the shipping) when we would order more of them. I've allready contacted Aerosoft, but they told me, that they'll not sell the manuals. So you guys are the only possibility 2 get them... The manuals of the MD11 I've bought at the FS Conference in Paderborn at 2009, as Robert was there and brought some with him. Thanks for that Robert. :) Missed you this year there. :( kind regards, Guenter
