May 22, 201115 yr Hi all (recently posted this on the FSForums website, but no replies so casting my net a little wider :( )First posting.I'm a commercial pilot and from time-to-time use MS before a sim check to get some situational awareness of the airport where I may well have not been before, prior to a check. As my handle suggests, I operate Airbuses and my chosen Add-On is the Feel There A320, currently overlaying MS 2004. Recently I brought a Saitek Cyborg FLY (although it defaults in Flt Sim to a Cyborg X). The stick seems pretty good and seemed to work fine a couple of days ago with the standard stock MS aircraft. However, after a reboot yesterday, I found that thrust lever one behaves perfectly as it did previously but thrust lever 2 just doesn't seem to move in the simulator or the engine panel, apart from when TOGA is applied on Thrust Lever 1.I also tried other aircraft and they too do not work as they did before. I've tried playing around with the assignments and the indications on the joystick setup show the thrust levers working as they should do. The problem is that MS Flt Sim doesn't seem to recognise the movements on Lever 2 now or something is inhibiting it from moving.Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendation, especialy anyone else whose experienced this?RegardsJ. (UK)----------Further to last, both thrust levers work fine in FSX but not in 2002 or 2004
May 23, 201115 yr After you are in a plane with two engines....pres 'E' and then 1 and 2 in quick succession. You should now have both throttles within the plane operating off of one throttle slide on your controller. If you hit either E and then 1 or 2...then you will only have the throttle operating to that engine....one or two. Some people press E and then a number when the really wanted to open a door..and should have pressed SHIFT-E-(number(s).Hope this helps.

May 28, 201115 yr Author Should have read...If you press E and then either 1 or 2, ...then you will only have the throttle operating for that engine...one or two.'That's better! :)MitchHey MitchThanks for the reply.Yes, I'm using Wilcos Feel There A320 in FS2002 & FS 2004. I would use it primariliy in FSX if it were compatible. The Saitek Cyborg X FLY has two independant thrust levers. It operates the twin engine aircraft in FSX as it should do with thrust lever #1 controlling engine #1 and thrust lever #2 controlling engine #2. However, in FS2002 & 2004 it seems to be suffering some sort of confliction in the setup. In the present config, where thrust lever 1 controls eng #1, it does this smoothly but it also erratically controls eng #2! Thrust lever #2 meanwhile does nothing! I've tried adjusting the configurations settings in FS2002 & 2004 and can get thrust lever #2 to control eng #1 but again it has the erratic behaviour on eng #2.I tried your helpful advice but it did not unfortunately improve anything. It's strange how it works perfectly in FSX (where my addon won't) but will not work in FS200 & 2004 where the Add-on will work.Any further suggestions or forums/places I should ask about this in?Many thanks
May 28, 201115 yr I do not own the FT Airbus but I do remember that their CRJ manipulated the thrust levers in weird ways to simulate FADEC on the 7 and 900 models. I would suggest reading through their forum to see if this might be part of the issue. I still to this day have not gotten those models of the CRJ to function properly although I gave up quickly as I was more into the -200. Regardless, looking into that possibility might be a good place to start, given the fact that you said that the number 1 engine control seems to have an erratic effect on the number 2 control. If that is not the issue, then it would be time to look into FS and FSUIPC stuff.Hope that helps,Ian
