May 30, 201115 yr Moderator Neglected? Joking? What about FlyTampa version that has been around for a long time? Also, if I am not mistaken it is part of ORBX-PNW -perhaps with not full blown detail but it is. We have had plenty of KSEA - enough.I think he was talking about KSEA being neglected for FSX since the FlyTampa version is for FS9. Altough there is a port over instructions at the FlyTampa forum to get the FS9 version to work in FSX, it doesn't use the custom ground textures and there are some transparence issues with some of the building and objects. As far as ORBX-PNW, it doesn't come with a version of KSEA, only a new ADE file that adds the third runway and better parking assignments, as well as elevation adjustments to make it blend with the rest of the package. Any objects it does add at the airport are FSX library objects and nothing custom. For what its worth, either Martin or George at FlyTampa recently said that they are seriously considering re-doing KSEA for FSX since it is requested so often. Most likely after he finishes Athens I would imagine.Sean Campbell Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
May 30, 201115 yr Cardiff Airport, United KingdomThe main approach is over the beaches and a sunset landing is spectacular. It handles the big jets but is a quiet airport. There is NO realistic freeware or pay ware scenery out there.

May 31, 201115 yr I would personally love if ORBX sold a separate package of KBFI, KPAE, and KPAE. There are plenty of airports that I would love to have, but I don't think I would want to pay for them since I would only fly to them once or twice-so I don't need them made. Aerosoft/Simwings's EGLL/LEMD/LFPG... are very nice but the frame rate hit is too significant for me. I wish someone (or them) would create a more fps friendly, but just as nice quality airports such as those major European ones. I'm most looking forward to (right now) Fsdreamteam's KLAX and their updates of their previous products, such as KJFK, KORD, etc. Best regards, happy flying, Wallace

May 31, 201115 yr Author If someone seriously considers doing Tucson I will help with photos and whatnot - I lived there for 15 years and can easily drive down. Have access to several very good DSLRs and lenses...Cool, I would do almost any scenery if I can have good photographs. There is nothing better than that to make a more realistic airport :(. The textures are really the "hard part". It take a lot of trial and error before you can get satisfied with the result at least for me. I don't think I will need photos for ground polys but I'll try making them first before I can ask you to send me some photos. I need them to be "perfect" before I move on to anything else. I've counted before over a 100 objects and building to make so it's not going to be easy! I'll send you a PM asap. Sagga Toure

May 31, 201115 yr Commercial Member For my fellow Simmers/pilots, please stand corrected to know that although Anguilla only has a 5400 foot runway, it does facilitate 737 traffic occasionally. Mainly, private BBJs for business and pleasure. This airport was my stomping ground in my early aviation career. Back then the airport was not able to cater to jet traffic. However the Anguillan government have been able to extend and widen the runway within the confined space available. It is really an impressive site to see a 737 doing the approach to runway 10. I remember as a kid I used to walk out of my aunt's back yard down to the end of the runway and watch the evening arrivals and departures (singles, twins and commuter turboprops) coming in from St. Martin, St. Thomas and other surrounding Caribbean islands. In those days security was not a big issueHere are the details regarding TQPF, although it looks as though you may have made up your mind.http://www.airnav.com/airport/TQPF KROSWYND a.k.a KILO_WHISKEYMajestic Software Development/Support Sys 1: AMD 7950X3D, NOCTUA D15S, Gigabyte Elite B650, MSI 4090, 64Gb Ram, Corsair 850 Power Supply, 2x2TB M.2 Samsung 980s, 1x4TB WDD M.2, 6xNoctua 120mm case fans, LG C2 55" OLED running at 120Hz for the monitor, Win11. May 31, 201115 yr Any of NZCH(Christchurch International), NZDN(Dunedin) or NZWN(Wellington) would be awesome!!So far the NZ sim community hasn't had too much in the way of scenery, so it'd would be awesome to see them done....And 737's (-300s,-400's and-800's) land at these places all the time, and 732's used to....Cheers,Joe Mathieson.

There were only few buildings to model for the airport. I can release it free if anyone is interested. It's at least far better than the fsx version because I also redraw the entire island. I made TQPF last year but lost many files containing the buildings. Sagga Toure
