Invalid entry (legs - altitude/FL)

Recommended Posts

In between Top of Climb and Top of Descent, there's no reason to be touching the altitudes on the legs page of the FMC. You said you entered an altitude on the legs page, and that is the incorrect place to do so - again, unless it is before TOC or after TOD.

Yes westbound is even like this FL:320, 340, 360 and so on.Eastbound is uneven FL:310, 330, 350 and so on. Look in the cruise page wich optional level you can use. example: best FL:310 opt:380 If you fly westbound you can choose an even level like; FL:320, 340, 360 or 380 (In this case I''d like to choose FL:320 because the weight of the plane)If you fly eastbound you can choose an uneven level like; FL:310, 330, 350, 370. And not FL390, this gives not availeble. You should use level change step by step! Thats what I have learned, maybe its wrong but I Always use this succelfull :-)
