Hi BryanLast 2 days I have been utterly frustrated by encountering several CTDs caused by this g3d.dll error.Just when I thought I had resolved all terrain.dll,g3d.dll.and ntldll.dll errors,lo and behold, just merely clicking on the FA button which was bing-bonging continuously, after a long flight from KSFO-PHNL just as I was about to begin a descent,FSX went CTD which Event Log pointed to a g3d.dll faulting module. How frustrating after spending so much time setting-up the flight using Voice Commander and for this to happen so close to the finish.ATi Radeon graphics card drivers are the very latest;and following MS's Support pages on this .dll, checking dxdiag passes everything as No Issues found. So why is this particular .dll bringing down a flight operated under FS2Crew Voice Commander when all I have done is try to silence the overhead panel FA button or call for ground crew to connect power/air? Works fine when not using FS2Crew VC.

Hi BryanTried all the above. The scenery postings one did not apply because it happens at random airports,no AI running.Bojote's tip I already had installed but re-installed with a fresh copy of UIAutomationCore.dll but was unable to resister it with RegSvr32.Uninstalled/re-installed Voice Commander.Went to call for ground crew to connect power just before shutting down.Instead,FSX instantaneously quit and shut down itself.Amazingly,no error recorded in Events Log.I'm even more baffled than before.

Hi Rick,Could just be a weird thing. I guess all you can do is not use the GRND Call button. FS2Crew doesn't use the Ground Call button, so it's a ???Best,
Thanks Bryan. I know that when Voice Commander loads its panel that power at pre-flight is derived from the APU Bus.I was just being 'green power' efficient in trying to get the GPU trolley to feed the Ground Bus. It is not all that an important an issue to me,just from an interest point why it'd cause FSX to go blink,off-screen,disappear.Maybe there might be a SP in the future that enabled the GPU trolley to be useable.
