setting trim in aircraft.cfg - help!

Hi all,Can I predefine the angle of trim the elevator has in the aircraft.cfg before I load the aircraft so I dont have to manually set it each time I take off for example, I dont want to use autotrim either??Many thanks in advance

Trim changes with airspeed, weight and balance, etc so basicly, no.

You would have to write a little XML gauge that sets the trim to your favorite setting first time through.There is no way of simply setting it in the aircraft.cfg file.

many thanks Bert for that So basically I cannot for example have +10 trim set on the aircraft so I dont have to automatically set trim before loading an aircraft??If I could preset trim I would not have to do it for takeoff or levelling off etc etc, not being predefined you cannot get around this unless I set auto trim??

Just like in a real aircraft, you set the trim before taking off. The previous pilot couldhave left it in any position.You may be able to save the flight with the trim set and reload it whenever you go flying.. for convenience sake.
