Scenery Request (KCAK)

Greetings fellow aviators,Over 3 years, I have been intently waiting for a developer to release a simple AFCAD or scenery package for my home aiport, KCAK (Akron Canton Airport). The most recent version is for fs2004 and was prodcued in 2007. Akron Canton has undergone a lot of changes since then, such as added gates and runway extensions. I would be more than thankful if somebody could make an AFCAD for that airport so that others (and me) can fly out of KCAK in style.If anybody knows of somebody who could fill this simple(?) request, please tell them. KCAK is one of the fastest growing airports in the country, and it grows every year.Regards,Mike

Hi Mike.If your interested in something as simple as as AFCAD/ADE update, I would suggest that you download the free ADEX software from Scruffyduck and give it a shot yourself.Honestly, the ADEX program is so easy to use, you could probably make the mods and spruce it up yourself very quickly, probably in the course of an evening. Heck, in the 3 years you've been waiting, you probably could have learned GMAX and some of the other tools and done a custom creation yourself, lol.In addition, there is another great freeware program called SBuilderX that you can use to make a photoreal back drop for the airport as well if you are so inclined.Give it ADEX a shot, there's nothing to lose, in fact you might enjoy it so much that tinkering with airports and makeing custom ADE's might become a hobby in its own right.
