L APR ARM & R APR Arm

Recommended Posts

Hi all,I have pretty much mastered flying the JetStream 4100 and what an aircraft!I am having an issue where where when I set the Condition to Flight I am getting a L APR ARM & R APR ARM warning. I am obviously missing something in my checklist. Can someone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance,

Don't worry! That's the correct indication!Basically, as you correctly proceeded through the check-lists and armed the APR (Automatic Performance Reserve), the annunciators are just letting you know the system is armed. The APR system basically allows the power-plants to run at a higher torque/egt limit in case of engine failure during take-off.
