Briefing Time 7th Edition Released

Until now, only the attendees at this year's 21st Anniversary World War II Weekend, held at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum on Jume 3-4-5, have had the chance to purchase, or even knew about the new 7th Edition of our venerable B-25J "Briefing Time" package. Well, the cat is out of the bag now, and both the CD and Download versions are available from the MAAM Online StoreFor the first time there are versions for FSX and FS9. Both feature installers that will automatically locate your particular FS path, which should ease the installation problems experienced by some Win7 and Vista 64bit users, especially. No more upgrades, patches, and fixes to get the plane working properly in FSX, either. This is a major revamp of the model and package, but rather than go on and on in this post, I'll just refer you to thePress Release for the highlights.And if you want all the details, I suggest you download a copy of the new Software User's Manual for Version 7 from our Free Stuff Pages.

Bill thanks for sending the download for briefing time...Love the plane, now me and my dad can fly with him flying escort for me...And also sorry for comments i made earlier. Guess my dad is right, i should exercise more patients.... I sometimes get agrivated with my dad being on the road, trying to do homework for school and listen to my aunte. Seams like the only time i can get away and forget about this wheelchair is when i am flying in FSX. Well i have to go, have an early flight tomorrow morning.....Taking the mitchell and leaving the airport me and my dad created on Vancouver Island, and heading for Hawaii and then to the solomons....From their i havent figured out yet.... No sweat, Amanda. Good old BT is still my favorite of our planes, for several reasons. My Dad ground-crewed B-25s in the South Pacific during WWII, for one. You might want to take a hop to New Guinea from the Solomons. One of the places his outfit was stationed was Seven-Mile-Drome http://www.pacificwr...mile/index.html , called Jackson Airport now. Then while you are in the country, you might want to visit Sentani Airport, the nearest field to Mt Cyclops from which MAAM recovered our P-61.The other reason I love BT is that I have been priviledged to fly in her a number of times. I even got to ride in the bombardier's seat all the way from Michigan to Reading a few years back. Best seat in the house, unless you get the pilot's seat! If you haven't yet done so, be sure to download all the manuals and instructional videos from our Free Stuff Pages. If you are a real Mitchell fan I also think you would really enjoy the B-25 multi-media package for $10 with all the extra goodies it has, including in-flight videos I shot and a video tour of the plane. I just recently put it out as a download version.Sounds like a great adventure. Do you and your Dad use FSX's shared cockpit capability? Bill. My dad and me sometimes fly pilot and copilot together...We also fly alot when he can get online when he is away from home.His screen name should tell you wha he does for work. Some times he flys the F4U Corsair, as close air support while i fly the bombers.And sometimes we both fly bombers, one time we had 12 pilots join us in their mitchels flying formation online from Hawaii to the Solomons and on to Guadalcanal. It was so neat to see one land and so many flyby over head at the same time, i almost crashed because i looked up to see them fly over as i landed, a misake i havent made since. One day i hope we can get enough B-17s together the same way. I wish i had taken some screen shots of all of us. I am not sure how many were MAAM Mitchells, i know 3 or 4 were in british markings. Mostly we just have fun flying together. My dad always takes time for me no mater where he is. He cant always ge on line, but when he cant he calls. My dad took me and my mom hiking once, not long before the car crash that killed her, and left me paralized. We found a B-25 that crashed on a mountian top in canada while we were there....I wonder if its still there. I have all the Manuals for the mitchell....I will ask dad about the multi-media package. Im sure he will get it for me. I love the B-25 mitchell, I hope one day to beable to fly in a real one, but i know their are not many around, espically in flying condition. I think i will do that and fly to the islands you told me about. I asked dad if we could take a trip to MAAM one day after the P-61 is done, i want to see it fly. Well its off to bed, morning comes early and i love flying when i can see the sun come up, even in the sim it is nice to see. Oh I also the he new B-25....almost all the features of the 2004 mitchell....Makes it nice....Thanks for the great work all of you do.... Amanda.
