Can anyone tell me what airline, if any, does this flight?!?!Also, what plane they fly!

Air New Zealand does it, KLAX to Auckland, in a 747-400 (my fiancee is a kiwi and just made the trip, while I took the 767-300 from Honolulu to Auckland...). When she was younger it was a 747-200 (classic) and the flight had to stop in Honolulu or Nandi, Fiji to refuel. Now it's just one long leg, about 13 hours or so...regards,

Air New Zealand fly 744s from KLAX to NZAA. They used to operated YSSY - KLAX , but stopped. They also do some 763 flights via Honolulu and also Raratonga. United operate the 777, Qantas fly 744s to NZAA.

United stopped operating the 744 to NZAA, they couldn't fill them. They opted for the 777 to do KLAX - NZAA. They've stopped the service for now, but are going to start it again soon.

I believe Cargolux also fly a 747 freighter (200 series I guess) direct LAX tooCheersLungs

Is QF making more flights to NZAA from KLAX than is Air New Zealand? Shouldn't that be the other way around? Thanks,Bruce.

AFAIK QF only fly to KLAX via NZAA once per day. This flight leaves from Brisbane. They do YSSY/YMML - KLAX direct.
