Someone was asking about the realsim. I went to a conference in Boston 4 or 5 years ago and stayed at a hotel right at the airport. Marriot, I think. Anyway, I asked after 1 night for a room on the airport side near the top so I could watch the airplanes taking off and landing. I'd go up during break, hehe. Anyway, the hotel is there. If you look at the airport from rwy 4 (or is it 6) you can see the building at the far left with kind a round silo type thing on the left hand side which is a staircase. Too much, brings back memories. :-)billg

thx Frank. As far as i can see, the file is only suitable for FS2004 and not for my good old FS2002.If you have one for AFCAD1 please send it to mee.cheersMartin

Yeah, I'd like to see an AFCAD for FS2002 too. It looks fantastic in both FS versions.

I'm working on tweaking the FS9 afcad :) I keep ending up with NWA at Terminals C and B, and USA everywhere!I think I need more parking in general...I work in Boston but have not been to Logan in years :) the construction there has been horrendous. It's a lot better now.Tim

I just D/L'd the file at work (T1 vs 56k at home) but won't be able to install until I'm home tonight. I'm salivating over this scenery after reading all the threads as KBOS is my home airport on FS9. Was born there, lived there and moved 40 miles west several years ago. The principal reason I bought Wilco's Airport 2000 Vol.3 (might have been Vol.2 - so long ago I can't remember) was because Logan was one of the 6 airports modeled. The improvement over the default was like night and day. I was really upset at Wilco when they decided not to patch the program for FS2002, so from what everyone has said about this addon, it sounds to be terrific. One question: Before installing this program, had anyone installed the AEU_mx.ZIP (Airport Upgrade) that had the new textured buildings?Does this program overwrite those files so there is no double type overlap of the terminal buildings?Thanks.Chris

TO answer your question and others...yes I have that airport upgrade and this addon overwrites it at the airport. As for how real it looks its scary. The hanger that has the xray tarp is there the firehouse looks ral even the newly poured concrete on the taxiway leading to rwy 22L/R. Its amazing and making me think I should upgrade my computer so that I can run higher AI with the fact I have UT installed. (I've jst decided to wait till the release of a new pentium from intel before upgrading). One thing I hope is that this scenery can be used in future releases because it is the best detail scenery I've seen period. NP

Anyone know how to make all FS2004 runways and taxiways look as good as this scenery ???

The only bad thing of this scenery that I noticed is that the taxi signs dont light up at night. Can anyone help this author is correcting that?NP

Most of the time I fly online, there is only a handful of guys if any at the airports so to me, I would enjoy it.
