Hi there,From what I seem to remember when I flew C-208's the first notch of flaps (10 degrees)could be set at < 150 kts, the second (20 degrees) and third notch (30 degrees) at <125 kts.Take-offs were always flown with flaps 20. (With flaps up, the thing would hardly lift off the ground.)No run-up as such was required. Only make sure the oil temp is warm enough before T/O.But do complete all the other checks before T/O.Either do a rolling T/O (smoothly add power till T/O torque has been achieved while rolling) or hold the brakes (no parking brake), set T/O power and then release the brakes. Hope this helps.
