Thanks Greg! > Jeez, how is it traveling... slow boat?Yeah, you'd think they are shipping those heatsinks from Mars or something. While I am here, how about increasing the FSB speed (getting another processor)? I am on 333 right now. I guess switching from a geforce 3 to a Radeon 9xxx would get me more, performance wise? So FS is quite processor hungry, but in my case the bottleneck must be the 64Mb graphics card? Assuming I have a good HD in there, of course. Ack, to think I'd have to re-install everything... I do not envy you. Jure

Well said Randy, I was wondering if anyone was going to point that out.On the card issues, does the ATI ones really make that much of a difference in the clouds? I just put together a new rig for FS9 and everything is great performance wise, except in heavy weather (Athlon 3200, A7N8X dlx, 1 gig high perf GEil 3500 DDR, and my old G4 4600) I know the G4 has issues with keeping up with AA and AF and a new ATI or FX card with help that. I am thinking of getting a 9800ProXT at Xmas, but was wondering if it would make that much of a dif in the weather situations as I only fly in real weather. Also on the driver deal, since this is a new rig, I tested it first with the stock XP display drivers (which are NVidia) and they worked very well, so I left it at that, would I still need the housecleaning tool?Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://mysite.verizon.net/res052cd/mybannercva1.jpgCalVirAir International VAwww.calvirair.comCougar Mountain Helicopters & Aviationwww.cgrmtnhelos.com
