Complete Uninstall/Install FSX

Recommended Posts

Hi Folks, I have just completed an Uninstall/Install of FSX. I had a look at the FSX.cfg and could not see Buffer Pools, Highmemfix, Text_Bandwidth_mult or Jobschedular to name just three, even after an Edit search. Can anyone explain why. This was done to accommodate the new 737NGX. Many thanks in advance. richard welsh.

I don't think BufferPools, Jobschedular come with the stock FSX.cfg.However some other features appear after an inital run of Flight Simulator (fsx.exe)So try running fsx, if you haven't. And add your BufferPools lines and other sections.

Some of them you need to add. Also make sure that you have the service packs installed as well.

Hi Guys, I did run FSX - Service Packs installed - I was reading the Bojotes Tweaks that made me look into the FSX.cfg in the first place. richard welsh.
