CLS 767 - keeping centerline on takeoff and best realism settings

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,Not too long ago I bought the CLS 767 for fsx and I love it. However, I find that on takeoffs I have a difficult time in keeping straight on the centerline of the runway. I usually keep my realistic settings between medium and hard, fly with real weather, and have autorudder on. Still, whenever there is any crosswind, my aircraft just veers off to the side unless I put a lot of pressure on my joystick. Time and again this leads to takeoffs that occur on an angle. Now, I do realize that if keep my settings on easy or if I fly in perfect weather, this won't be a problem, but I do like some realism. So, is there a recommendation for the realism settings on the CLS 767 and any tips for keeping the centerline? Thanks!

I'd say that the best realism settings for the CLS 767 are to ditch it and get the Level D 767.

I actually have the level D, but I prefer the CLS because I don't have to go through redundant procedures. I am not looking for a super realistic experience, but more for a load up and takeoff type of aircraft. That said, I am not interested in a debate about which aircraft is better, both cater to different markets. I would just like some tips to make my flying experience more enjoyable, thanks.
