I believe that the manuals are available to purchase and won't be made available to download unless they have electronic PMDG versions shipped with the download of the actual aircraft like most PMDG releases.

If you're talking about the Boeing manuals, Boeing will not allow those manuals to be released electronically. The PMDG manuals will be, if I read correctly, released shortly before the NGX is released.

None of the Boeing material will be released for free, due to legal obligations. The PMDG portion of the documentation is still in progress and will be finished once the final release candidate is ready. So the best we can hope for is a pre-release of the introduction, shortly before product release, but don't hold your breath. See this thread. You'll get full documentation with the NGX, software manual, flight tutorials, etc...What you won't get are the actual Boeing manuals already available for purchase.

No, the plane will come with all the manuals, including the Boeing ones. The Boeing manuals just will not be online.

Maybe you're not getting it. By "Boeing manuals" he really means Boeing manuals. They are exact copies of the NG's real manuals. PMDG just removed some unneeded pages, added their logo and maybe changed some little details throughout the pages. That's why they won't be available in their website for free download, because Boeing doesn't want their manuals easily available on the internet to anyone. Those printed manuals that are for sale are the Boeing manuals. The QRH, FCOM vol. 1 & 2 and the FCTM are all the real thing. The only things that are 100% PMDG-made are the tutorials and the introduction documents. Those two will be available for download once they are finished. All the manuals I listed will come with the plane when you buy it.

I stand corrected!I was acting under the assumption that we'd only get the PMDG manuals & that the bound Boeing copies were available as an extra. Didn't expect them to come with the aircraft in electronic form.
