Multiple Monitor/USB Monitor Question

Featured Replies

Hi: I will try to make this question understandable! I currently have two monitors running in FSX (Vista Ultimate)...I am considering the purchase of one of those small USB monitors for use as a dedicated GPS...Here's the question: Will I be able to drag the GPS to the USB monitor, given the fact that I am already using two monitors? Thanks for the advice...Steve

Hi SteveI hesitate to answer because someone brighter might be able to give you clearer guidance. I assume you are using the existing 2 screens linked in some way (eg DH2Go) to give you one image across the two screens.I think the key is - what graphics card do you have?If you have a spare outlet to plug the new monitor into, you will be able to undock and slide the GPS onto it. Do that in windowed mode, then goto Wideview.I use my general PC linked to another screen fixed above my flight sim trio. The screen for my general PC and the other one link in that way.To link the software for FSCommander I use WideFS, but that wouldn't be necessary to do what you want.Frank

YES, you will be able to do that!I'm using three monitors and both USB and WIFI devices for additional displays.RV
