FS2crew voice addition for PMDG MD 11

Featured Replies

Are there plans for a voice addition of FS2crew for the MD11? I really enjoy the voice addition of this product on the Pmdg 747. However can't do the undock-multi monitor instrument thing like I can with the The MD 11. Would be great.LonnieFound my answer. Too bad, would have been great

  • If PMDG doesn't release anything major after the new 777 or 747, then I'll consider it.   Cheers,

Lobby PMDG for an SDK and it might happen... but the odds of PMDG doing an SDK for the MD-11 are slim to none.Cheers,

Bryan, I don't know if this is possible, but if you did a "lite" voice commander version for the PMDG MD-11 then I would buy it.By "lite" I mean similar to the 747 voice version, where an initial panel state is set or loaded by the user because the actual button and switch positions cannot be read. I would happily accept pop-up panels and simulated mouse clicks etc. In terms of functionality, I would be happy if it only did what the current version does, but using voice commands. So long as people know what they are getting, I think lots of existing and, hopefully, new users would buy it.

Regards,

PD

Bryan, if there was a voice commander for the MD-11, I would actually go and buy both the MD-11 and the Vocie Commander for it! The only reason I havent bought it is because there is no voice commander for it...since sampling your products, I dont want to fly on my own anymore! Will Reynolds

Voice Commander for the MD 11 would be great!!!I don't think that you can compare the MD11 with the NGX. Mainly because the MD11 is also available for FS9 user like me.So count me as a customer if..........

I think you might find there are a lot of people like me that purchased other PMDG products after the NGX, because they saw the quality of the product. I know own all PMDG heavies and only flew the NGX first on October 1! I'd love a voice commander version, as I was just sitting with the MD-11 FS2crew in my basket on your website, when I decided to check to see if it was voice enabled. I'm not a huge fan of the click and point way, as although it is awesome, it seems a little clunky--voice is still way preferable.

The NGX is okay but doesen't give the satisfaction of controlling the real heavy the MD-11 so, put me down for the voice version Bryan please? :(

I could do it, but it would be like the PMDG 747 voice version. I couldn't be able to control the MCP like heading, speed, alt.
I would be happy with that. So long as we all know what to expect, I'm sure others would feel the same.

Hey Bryan. I also own all of pmdg's heavies with the exception of the md11. I have considered purchasing it but I am an avid "voice" fan. I would also make the purchase of the md11, looks like a great plane to add to my hanger, but not without a voice version to go with it. I realize it wouldn't be as in depth as say the level d 767, which I also have, but even if it's only as functional as the pmdg 747 voice version that would be fantastic. Please consider adding a voice version. You have my vote!

I just bought the MD-11 and would also love to have the voice version even if it's implemented the same way as the 747.

Count me in aswell, I fly the md 11 all the time, and own the NGX

Dear Bryan.FS2Crew is as important as the aircraft itself. look what you have done to the community, look how many people have thanked to you. I ain't flying without FS2Crew, that's for sure.Count me in

I purchased FS2crew Standard for MD-11 X, because there is NO voice recognition addition. :Thinking:My motto is, "as real as it gets". Using keybourd for FS2crew commands and popups is annoying ...As Newbee in flightsimulation I purchases bouth, the PMDG MD-11 X AND the PMDG 737 NGX for FSX -because, these are totally different airplanes - I love and fly both!PMDG and FS2crew are a Deamteam! :Love:I' am sure, there are other guys, that love both airplanes and would purchase MD-11 speach recognition ... :(
