Configure ALT/VS display click spot via FSUIPC

Recommended Posts

Hello,I'd like to switch between the output of the AP ALT and the AP V/S by using a keyboard shortcut. My first idea was to use FSUIPC but I couldn't find anything useful by using FSUIPC logging facillity. Has someone an idea how I could do this? I have attached a small picture to show what I mean. Thanks, Torsten

Do you have the registered version of FSUIPC? If yes, it can be done via a little LUA routine smile.png For my own use, I've changed the knob so that it turns via Mousewheeland switches when clicked.

I just swapped around the VS and ALT so that they equel the left side buttonto make VS active click on left top buttonto make ALT active click on left bottom buttonto increase the value of the active line click right side + or -the active indicator will have a little orange block next to the VS or ALTGCCBc.jpg You can download herehttp://www.mediafire...v9jvr/GCCBc.cab Install instructionDownload the file. DO NOT unzip it. Take the file called GCCBc.cab file and add it to the "panel" folder of the carenado C208now open panel.cfg inside the panel folder of the C208 with notepad. scroll down till you get [Vcockpit02] section. It should look like this [Vcockpit02]Background_color=0,0,0size_mm=512,512visible=0pixel_size=1024,1024texture=$Panel_CARAV_2 gauge00=GCCB!Airspeed2, 10,3,165,165gauge01=GCCB!Attitude2, 182,3,155,164gauge02=GCCB!Altimeter2, 345,2,164,164gauge03=GCCB!Turn_Coordinator2, 5,172,171,170gauge04=GCCB!Directional_Gyro, 179,173,162,162gauge05=GCCB!Vertical_speed2, 344,172,167,167gauge06=GCCB!clock, 205,408,99,99gauge07=GCCB!suction, 104,408,99,99gauge08=GCCB!voltamp, 3,407,99,99gauge09=GCCB!Annunciator_Panel, 3,344,362,53gauge10=GCCB!fuelflow, 307,407,100,100gauge11=GCCB!Fuel_Quantity_Left, 410,408,100,100gauge12=GCCB!vs, 371,343,136,60 now change the gauge12 entry (in red above) to be like this below gauge12=GCCBc!vs, 371,343,136,60 (you only add a little c behind the GCCB and before the !..)SAVE Open FSX and enjoy

Hi, Sorry that I didn't react on your response. I was a little busy and had no time to check the forum. Regarding your FSUIPC question: Yes, I have a registered version and I'm already using LUA scripts for my JS41. Thanks for sharing the cab file. It looks better then switching around between ALT and VS :) Regards,Torsten

Hi Modena,I assume you are using Vista or Windows 7. Open the editor you are using as administrator (right click on the icon and select run as adminstrator). Also check, if the file has only read permissions (rigth click on the file and properties),Hope that helps.Regard,Torsten
