August 4, 201114 yr I like the idea of flying into LOWI - does anyone have any good flights from airports close to LOWI that would allow a short flight and approach into LOWI? Would be cool to fly this airport with the new terrain radar in action!Take Munich or Salzburg or Zurich or Vienna. My favorite pair is Munich LOWI and back. August 4, 201114 yr Author Take Munich or Salzburg or Zurich or Vienna. My favorite pair is Munich LOWI and back. Excellent, they all sound pretty good. I've just been playing around with FSBuild and I can even reach them from Gatwick in just over an hour, so good value all round! Will check out Vienna and Munich too. Ed Haslam
August 4, 201114 yr So if you are flying much in Germany, you should buy the German Aiprports 2X and 3X, they are mostly real and the framehit is very very small, so you have 5 airports and the price for 2 Lennart Siepelmeyer Proud owner of the NGX from PMDG, the best flight sim aircarft at this time (just the best fs aircraft until the next PMDG plane is rolling out) Home airport: EDDG Online fliyng on IVAO, ID : 335599 Windows 7 x64 i7-860 (4x2.8 GHz) GTX-460 2GB 4GB RAM
August 4, 201114 yr I fly mainly from the UK2000 airports but like the destinations to be Aerosoft's Nice Cote d Zur, CDG, Frankfurt Main, Fly Tampa LOWW (Vienna) LOWI, Innsbruk and FS Dream Teams Zurich or Geneva, I also have Madeira, Ibiza and Majorca by Aerosoft . I am undecided about Schiphol, from my FS2004 days it always seemed to be a frame killer. I would like the NL2000 scenery but don't like Bit Torrent downloads so please suggest some more destinations in Europe. I keep checking but no sign of NGX yet, it is like waiting for Christmas! At 54 my wife thinks I am mad, she doesn't know how much I spend on this hobby If she did she would have me certified. Dave Boreham
August 4, 201114 yr Lows even better doing the offset vor/dme to 34 be a real good challenge in the 737 around the mountains, give you chance to hand fly the visual part or even gibraltar that's fun to. Is there any payware scenery for LOWS?Aerosoft have one in development. Can't find any other for FSX. Regards, Radek
August 4, 201114 yr Aerosoft Stuttgart (EDDS) A. O. Kara "It is possible to fly without motors, but not without knowledge and skill."
August 4, 201114 yr I suggest Bornholm X from Aerosoft.Why?-it has good FPS-Not just a detailed AirPort but also a whole Island in astonishing Detail.-Short Runway and Heavy Winds near the Coast means: every Landing is an adventure- from GB probably just under 2 hoursJan Reineke
August 4, 201114 yr Amsterdam is a good add-on, make sure you have a good computer though because it's heavy and won't run good on 'older' computers :) Greetings, Shane Waanders
August 4, 201114 yr Flying less than a hour from EGLL ? Why not Brussels Airport (EBBR) ? Peter Belgium Flightsimulator is not a simulation, it's a way of life ...
August 4, 201114 yr Aerosoft Nice X = Mountains, Sea, 2 runways, great departures, and amazing frame rates on my system even when using the MD11, I got dozens of payware Airports and this has really blown me away. Also going to puchase Flytampa Athens, that looks like a work of art!, just hope FPS will be good inconjuction with the NGX Rgds, Shaun
August 4, 201114 yr I haven't seen FlyTampa Athens I am going to take a look, I fly the Queen into their KaiTak, it is awesome, I have Vienna, Boston and TNCM which are all excellent, I need a Greece destination, I also agree Nice is very good. Dave Boreham
