Frame Rates compared to the -400X?

Recommended Posts

For me it's worse in FPS compared to 400X about 25-30 % less FPS and yes I got mouse Lag.
Same for me, it is really annoying me this mouse lag thing. Dont have it with any other add ons. Anyone know a fix?

On my RIG (see sig). REX + OD + ASE = 30 fps (by fps limiter) all the time. Really satisfied.

I have to agree with the mouse lag thing. In the exterior views, I get 30 FPS (capped) solid. But when I go into the VC... *poot sound*

Your rig is good. Mine is not.

Oldish as in Core 2 Duo 2.33 Ghz, which is what I have.
Very much out of date. Not even FSX itself runs well on such configuration.

So it's kind of dependent on individual cases? Some people reporting more, some reporting less.I hope that I can report getting more when i load up the NGX! haha.

Whats OLDish?
32bit is oldish :) No reason not to run 64bit these days.

Actually, there is. I purchased an upgrade package that contained both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, but only worked with the 32-bit version of vista I was running at the time. Basically I don't have enough free time for a clean install of my PC in order to run 64-bit (there is a TON of stuff on it), so I'm stuck with 32 until a new PC comes knocking at my door Rolling Eyes.gif.

The Boeing 747-400X runs fine, actually. As in 25 FPS in "heavy" areas (including FlyTampa stuff). Luckily I was able to squeeze a 9800gt into my Inspiron Desktop.

I am getting > 100 fps in the 2D and >50 fps in the 3D. This is better than the PDMG 747.Using 990X Cpu590 video card12 gb ram

And yes, there is a mouse issue, the very much same as in the competitor.
What mouse lag issue?

My FPS is about the same as the Level-D 767. The major advantage of a 64 bit OS over a 32 bit is that it doesn't have a 4GB RAM limit. Windows 7 x64 is a good OS and as long as it's got 4GB RAM it runs faster than XP on kit up to 3 or 4 years old (imo). SP1 has some memory handling improvements which speeds things up a bit.

What mouse lag issue?
A drop in FPS when the mouse cursor is visible in the VC. Frames go back up if mouse is moved offscreen or when it disappears. About 5 FPS difference on my system (i5 2500K @ 4.5 GHz)

I am getting comparable fps to the 400. The NGX flies and runs great in VC with TrackIR and EZDok. What a great product, congratulations and thanks.

On my system, I'd say the NGX and the MD-11 get around the same FPS, both better than the 747. I just got done flying KMSP-KLAS... for most of the flight I was able to keep FPS at or above 20, with higher sliders than I normally use for the MD-11, and for most of that flight I had some other stuff running (some FS utilities, PDF reader, and Opera browser with a few tabs up). I'm quite impressed with it. Right now I'm sitting on the ground at KLAX getting around 20 FPS, and that's with several things running (like this browser). Keeping the cursor off-screen is silly but it's worth 5 FPS on my system too. Obviously with my system my sliders are a lot lower than people with everybody running i7s 4+ GHz but even with my meager system I'm quite happy with it!
