Can't clear route discontinuities... Problem, or standard feature?

Recommended Posts

Hi, When setting up a short flight from KCMH (Columbus, Ohio) to KMDW (Chicago Midway), I noticed straight away that whenever a "route discontinuity" would appear, my attempts to delete them would result in "INVALID DELETE" being displayed in the scratchpad. My questions are: a.) Is this normal on the real aircraft or is something amiss? b.) What is the proper procedure for clearing a route discontinuity? Thanks, I hope to figure this all out soon. Regards, Dylan

Haha, let me guess; you're used to the PMDG 747-400x, where you can just delete themXD

A good landing is one you walk away from, a great landing is one when you can re-use the equipment!

Just for reference the FCOM shows how to link a discontinuity in SP.11.6.
