Go to your FSX folder > PMDG > PMDG 737NGX > 737NGX_Color.ini. Backup the file first and then replace the existing code with the one posted in the forum. Code of the last image is: [Panel Colors]COLOR_DAY=247COLOR_DUSK=115COLOR_NIGHT=57FLOODS_DAY_R_2D=255FLOODS_DAY_G_2D=155FLOODS_DAY_B_2D=38FLOODS_DUSK_R_2D=255FLOODS_DUSK_G_2D=155FLOODS_DUSK_B_2D=38FLOODS_NIGHT_R_2D=255FLOODS_NIGHT_G_2D=155FLOODS_NIGHT_B_2D=38LETTERING_R_2D=241LETTERING_G_2D=156LETTERING_B_2D=56TEXT_OFF_R_2D=220TEXT_OFF_G_2D=220TEXT_OFF_B_2D=235TEXT_FULL_R_2D=209TEXT_FULL_G_2D=230TEXT_FULL_B_2D=255TEXT_BG_OFF_R_2D=35TEXT_BG_OFF_G_2D=35TEXT_BG_OFF_B_2D=60TEXT_BG_FULL_R_2D=70TEXT_BG_FULL_G_2D=15TEXT_BG_FULL_B_2D=7FLOODS_DAY_R_VC=90FLOODS_DAY_G_VC=90FLOODS_DAY_B_VC=90FLOODS_DUSK_R_VC=155FLOODS_DUSK_G_VC=150FLOODS_DUSK_B_VC=145FLOODS_NIGHT_R_VC=255FLOODS_NIGHT_G_VC=192FLOODS_NIGHT_B_VC=0LETTERING_R_VC=255LETTERING_G_VC=162LETTERING_B_VC=0TEXT_OFF_R_VC=220TEXT_OFF_G_VC=220TEXT_OFF_B_VC=235TEXT_FULL_R_VC=209TEXT_FULL_G_VC=230TEXT_FULL_B_VC=255TEXT_BG_OFF_R_VC=31TEXT_BG_OFF_G_VC=37TEXT_BG_OFF_B_VC=106TEXT_BG_FULL_R_VC=60TEXT_BG_FULL_G_VC=12TEXT_BG_FULL_B_VC=5CABIN_DAY_R=64CABIN_DAY_G=64CABIN_DAY_B=64CABIN_DUSK_R=128CABIN_DUSK_G=128CABIN_DUSK_B=128CABIN_NIGHT_R=255CABIN_NIGHT_G=247CABIN_NIGHT_B=217VC_FACTOR_DAY=55VC_FACTOR_DUSK=80VC_FACTOR_NIGHT=90VC_BACKGROUND_R=30VC_BACKGROUND_G=32VC_BACKGROUND_B=35DOME_FACTOR_BRT=80DOME_FACTOR_DIM=60ANNUN_DIM_FACTOR=60
I'm using this mod, but I think the airspeed, altitude, etc window looks too bright in the daytime (see attached screenshot). Could you point me to which area on the config, where I can make changes to this? I want to return just that to the default settings.

Is there a way to change the color of the font on the CDU and the color of the light on the "exec" button? I'd like to make both brighter. thanks!dan 'lensman' davison

Don't think you can do that. What's wrong with the font? It's already white, no? You can always turn up the brightness. The rest of the CDU (i. e. the buttons) are tied to the LIGHTING_XXX entries in the config. sig.gif

But no one has answered my question. Which entry has the MCP digital readout windows? I want to return them to pmdg default. Thanks anyone

Pretty sure you just want to change the FLOODS figure. As for RGB colors, there are some pretty useful internet websites out there that give you RGB colors if you aren't good at guessing them. http://drpeterjones.com/colorcalc/ using the RGB tool to the right will show you the corresponding color. Good luck! Edit: Yup! It works. Check this out: lolxeq.png
Good day all. It looks amazing. Is there any tutorial how to use that color calculator? I opened it but couldn't figure out how to use that and apply to NG. Thanks a lot.

Hi Kenneth =) Would you be so kind and paste these lines from your colour mode? Looks awsome with that red touch!LETTERING_R_VC=xxxLETTERING_G_VC=xxxLETTERING_B_VC=xxx

The warm orange appearance of incandescent lighting when photographed has simply to do with an incorrect white balance of the CMOS/CCD. If you use a daylight setting for incandescent lighting, it will appear warmer (read: redder) on the photo than it is actually. What you see on many airliners.net and so on sites are photos taking with incorrect white balances. Mark Thornton's shot based on Harm's settings (correct?) look closer... thanks for this, one to look at! Andrew
