Anyone had any luck with goflight hardware with the NGX?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I'm flying with a bunch of the 'simple' gofligth hardware - RP48 button and roatary switch modules (x3), GF-T8 switches (x2). These are usually easy to program because they're just picked up by FSUIPC as joystick inputs. I'm trying to interface this with the NGX, particularly to control the MCP. Tried using the Goflight settings for default planes - as expected, no luck. Tried using FSUIPC to adjust heading, IAS, altitiude - also didn't work. Questions: 1. has anyone got FSUIPC working for hardware control of MCP?2. this is potentially a stupid question - are there key commands to control all this? I'm used to these being in the add-ons menu, but there's just an 'about' tab under PMDG. If there is, I can map GFKeys to the key commands - although I never find this very satisfactory.3. any progress yet with LUA scripts etc from anyone? Love the NGX, but really miss flying without hardware support.

HelloThe Keyboard mapping is now in the FMC menu's, very much like the PSS 757 777 config popup if you remember that far backI have used the keymapping to setup my Goflight stuff without any problem. The radios (gf166) work fine anyway as does most functions on the GF-48, I have only used the keymapping via the FMC commands then assigning the GF buttons on my MCP advanced AP and RP48 and P*8 modules through Fsuipc button programming but it all works nicely
