August 10, 201114 yr I have them both...I might have a difference of 5 FPS...As many said they are pretty much the same.... TomTheTomable
August 10, 201114 yr ...since when flying night, you have a blue bar ontop of your screen... Is this in windowed or full screen? What blue bar? Thanks,Dirk.
August 10, 201114 yr about the comparison, the level d is more fps friendly then ngx about 5-6 fpd in vc if I reduce the pmdg 737 vc texture from 4096 ro 2048 can i get more fps? even 2 more fps are ok for me :)
August 10, 201114 yr Moderator Jim,I dont know if you got it already, but I posted some FPS shots in the screen shot forum around FSDT's JFK to give you an idea how it works on my abacus of a computer :-)Overall I get about the same FPS as the LDS767, maybe one or two FPS less in some cases, but overall even in places like JFK I maintain 25+ FPS in all weather condiditons. It would probably be higher but with all the AI in the area it lowers the FPS a bit. I could probably pull 30+ with no AI.In any case since you have a modern computer you should have no problems running it. Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
August 10, 201114 yr imho you cannot compare a product made over 3 years ago with one made as recently as ngx for me the 767 is ok but not great, the ngx has moved the boundaries forward completely without affecting performance It's really damn funny^^...I bet you got a 2600k @ 4-5ghz ...like all users who are telling me it's running smooth... Surely this must be dependent on what slider settings you use in FSX. What sliders do you mean considering I only get fps < 30 when in VC?I estimate my settings as pretty low but may someone see settings which could make the pmdg737 useable...please let me know MY SETTINGS (Just links because don't wanted to blow up this site):http://filerepos.de/...xsettings/1.PNGhttp://filerepos.de/...xsettings/2.PNGhttp://filerepos.de/...xsettings/3.PNGhttp://filerepos.de/...xsettings/4.PNGhttp://filerepos.de/...xsettings/5.PNG Any setting hint welcome :)

I saw yours was rather moderate. I have higher settings for VFR outside cities. One thing I noticed was that you have moving road traffic. That is I think a big performence hitter.I suspect that this 737NGX isn't for me considering my systemAMD X2 6000 3.1 GHz4 GB RAMGTS 250 1 GbWin 7 x64Has anyone tried it on a system similar to this?
