Whats best, Default FS2004 JFK or the Simflyers one.

Featured Replies

Which scenery do you use for JFK?I know that the default one uses GMAX and the Simflyers one doesnt and the simflyers one looks more realistic but eyecandy isnt everything. So would just like some feedback if anyone uses Simflyers in FS2004 and what its like compared to the default one which is quite good in itself.Thanking you in advanceCraigK

No Contest in my opinion. SimFlyers all the way.It would be easy for you to make your own decision. Download the trial version and take a peek. If you can ignore the SimFlyer signs, it will give you a pretty good idea as to whether it is something you want or not. It will also tell you whether your system can handle it as well, cause it will eat up some frame rates.I have all of the SimFlyer locations except Italy and am eagerly awaiting KIAH which should be out soon. Most of my flights are to and from those locations and I prefer them.Take a peek and good luck.RTH

I decided having 10 extra frame rates, especially on VATSIM where multiplayer aircraft lower frame rates, beat simflyers option.I was never a fan of having some vehicles popup out of nowhere when you are tuning to a freqency. And for that, they have to place the vehicles on every parking, which makes the scenery so heavy.Besides, you only spend 10% of the flight at the airport, so it's not so important IMO, having better airplane/landclass/scenery is more priority.
