IVAP V2 External

Recommended Posts

This subject hasnt come up, but has anybody else seen alot of crashes of the Ivap DLL whilst flying online, I can say this happens at least 4-5 times maybe more depending on length of flights. This doesnt happen apart from when I am flying the NGX. it also just crashes when it wants so hard to pin down. I am not the only one who suffers from this as the bunch of people i fly with also get this, I wanted to just check on here before i post on IVAO forums for them to have a look into as well. Its not a mssive problem as i just reconnect and wait for the next crash lol but just trying to pin this one down

Ryan, The issue seems to be when aircraft appear in the session usually around 10 miles and then IVAP crashes, thats what I seem to observe, but it could be more. I havnt completed a flight in the NGX without IVAP crashing at least once. So i reinstalled IVAP and I am testing to see if this may have fixed the problem, I usally fly with a group of other pilots online, and all have IVAP crashes roughly at the same time, so there is an issue its just finding it

I can't possibly think of anything we could be doing that would crash IVAP.
But the IVAP crashes goes on....

I have experienced one of these, but I run ivap internally, Would a pmdg staff member run a check to see if there is anything possible that could be connected? I know from the past I cannot run some software with ivap, [exe and dll files in the config folder] because of significant performance leakage

Hello, i have the same problem with ivap. After 20 or 40 mn Ivap crash with FSX. This is the solution before running FSX you must open Ivap as administrator and put in as "FSX external" and then FSX don't crash. Nasser

Hi, My IVAP was 100% stable until tonite (2. full flight with the NGX). 40 min after departure, IVAP crashed. Note I only use IVAP external. No trafic around, over swiss CTR. I'm still with no hotfix installed. Coincidence ?

Sometimes I can complete a flight without any problems, but sometimes crash 6-9 times per flight. Let's say it happens 50%.
