What Aircraft Would You Like To See In Flight?

Featured Replies

Hey all,Title saids it all, but what aircraft do you think will be added to the game, especially as Microsoft are appealing to both the "casual and hardcore" flight simmer. Are we likely to see well known fighters and famous aircraft like the F-22 Raptor, Airbus A380 etc.. to please the casual players, while planes such as Boeing 737 or Concorde added for the hardcore/plane-lover user? I personally hope they mix it up this time, not the same old same old we have previously seen in the last couple of Flight Simulators, my list of 5 aircraft I would love to see in Flight are, 1. Cessna 1522. Airbus A340-6003. Gulfstream G6504. Dash 85. Lockheed Constellation Love to hear your opinions and thoughts. Virtual Reality

*btw, when using the term 'game' it is an umbrella term, it also includes simulation and racing games, and everything in-between. Do not twist my words.

"A video game is an electronic form of play that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device" - the definition of the word "videogame", game is the common shorthand for videogame. Just being clear.

Oooh-Yeeeah! Now here's a topic I've thought a lot about... Let's see, this list can get long in the tooth, so I'll just say this: I hope Flight (eventually, at least) covers the widest range of aviation, from 'Lighter-Than-Air' Balloons and Blimps to Gliders, Sailplanes, Parasails (powered and Non-) to the Most-popular and Prolific GA (Cessnas, Pipers, Beechcraft... etc). STOL Bushplanes and Amphibians. Turbo-props, Business Jets, Airliners, Fighter Jets and other Military AC including classic and historical WWII Fighters and Bombers (heck Vintage stuff of all kinds, DC-3, Connie, etc), Gyrocopters, Helicoptors / VTOL, Spacecraft (i.e. Shuttles from launch to flying brick landing in one flight). And of course Aerobatic and Racing Aircraft. So if I had to choose say my top five... it would be: Boeing-Stearman Model 75 "Kaydet" (-check-)de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver Amphibian (although I am a big fan of the Maule M-7 260C -check-) Beechcraft Baron 58 -or- Piper PA-34-220T Seneca VDouglas DC-3 (a new and better one, NOT silly a port-over) -or- Lockheed Model 10 Electra (maybe even Amelia's, the 10E)Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner

Praying for a Learjet 45 (as a ful scale LJ45 simbuilder/supplier) and just hoping for a C172/182, a Connie or Dc3, a 737 for all the pit builders, a jet fighter-trainer, glider, and a nice helicopter.Eric T.FlightLevel180.net

What aircraft would you like to see in MS Flight?
My FSX payware planes, together with my FSX payware scenery upgrades. Yeah, I know. Broken record and all that, but it's the truth.

Like Christopher above I am not in the slightest bit interested in what default planes are in MSFlight. As far as I am concerned they can include none. Life is a bit too short to waste time in aircraft made first and foremost to be as easy to fly as possible for the masses. MS default aircraft can never be anything other than a long list of compromises.

Hello folks! I would like to see the following if I had my choice:

  • Boeing 777-200, 200LR, and 300ER for long range flights
  • Airbus A-319-320NEO, 321 series for short-medium range flights (PMDG already has the fabulous 737 series so no need here)
  • Either the CRJ-700/900 or the ERJ 175-190 series for commuter / short range jet
  • Bombardier DHC-8-300 or Q400 for short range commuter prop
  • Gulfstream V or the G550 or 650 for long-range corporate jet type
  • Beechcraft Super King Air for private turboprop multi engine corporate
  • Cessna 182 or 210 for single engine private

Hope this helps! Dennis D. Mullert

Sincerely,

Dennis D. Müllert

Hrmmmmmmm..... after considering the aircraft revealed to us so far in Flight, I have an idea, based on the progression of these facts:1) Low & Slow Biplane with great training qualities, Open Cockpit, Taildragger.2) High-Wing-Single STOL Bushplane, Light & Simple, Enclosed Cockpit, Taildragger.3) Modern Low-Wing-Single, bubble-like Enclosed Cockpit, Fixed Tricycle Gear. And so, I think I'll make a prediction, Alain-Flightrodamus style (*insert smiley tipping hat*), that the next revealed AC will be...4) Low-Wing-Twin, Retractable Tricycle Gear.Anyone else like this logic? Airbus A320.
Airbus as always is a good idea but I'd also like to get a Gulfstream in Flight Simulator for once. Microsoft out of anybody can pull this off seeing Gulfstream has been very anal toward FS development. Once MS pulls this off it opens the door for developers like Eaglesoft to take it to the next level.
