Are the "freezes" and FSX crashes the same?

May sound a silly question, but I never get freezes with the ngx, but I get very frequent fsx crashes [fatal error, and then restarts the sim automatically]. Are these two different things, or should I look into the hotfix?? Secondly would anyone suggest reinstalling the NGX again, may solve a issue or two? Alex

the freezes are now know as panel freeze. ND CDU PFD etc, not FSX. With panel freeze, the FSX still runs. so no

Just had my first freeze about 5 minutes ago, while turning final into FlightBeam's KSFO. FSX Was still running, but the HGS, and panel was frozen. Froze on my while in a descending turn, and I spiraled down to a crash.

If the d3d9.dll is mentioned in your CTD, you should take the ENB Mod out of the FSX directory and do without ENB Series. Of course that's assuming you're using the ENB Series MOD!

I don't have that installed, The module that crashes is "unknown"
