Exclusion area not saving

Hi I'm using ADE and have updated Bois Blanc Island (6Y1) in Michigan to pavement, and have added the ramp area and some buildings. Everything looks pretty good so far, but I'm trying to exclude an area just east of runway 28 because there are trees blocking the approach path to 28. I used an exclusion rectangle at the end of the runway for about 300 ft out, yet when I save, compile, and update FS with the new scenery the trees are still there. Any suggestions? Thank you.

9 or X? The best way to do it is extend the airport background poly to exclude the autogen. ADE can do this in X, you will need SBuilder for FS9. regards,Joe
