after the hotfix i can't seem to engage my FD and AP. plane is perfectly timmed? any ideas of what could be wrong

You could try changing the setting in the FMS under PMDG SETUP/AIRCRAFT/EQUIPMENT/Realisitic Autopilot Engagement to "Off" and see it that helps. See page 0.00.56 of the Introduction manual for details.
