Tired of looking in the Manuals for the checklist? Android and iOS web-app Flight Tools!

With all due respect, I'd rather save my money. Maybe for $0.99 I'd do it but in my opinion it's priced far beyond "reasonable.I'll print out the checklists, laminate them, and spend the money at Starbucks. -Michael Tucker-
Kristian's webapp is free. FS2Crew's iPhone/iPad app is rather expensive but does also offer voice call outs as well as checklists and flows. Kevin Hall

Compared to most iPhone app, yes, the Flight Crew Assistant for the 737 NGX is expensive. Pricing reflects the fact that it's a highly, highly specialized app with a miniscule target market. This stuff doesn't fall into the same category as one of the so-called 'fart' apps that can appeal to a hundred thousand plus people. Our target market size is in the very low hundreds for apps like this. Cheers,

That's what I get for trying to respond via iPhone, LOL. My bad wording. I saw the $15 app on iTunes, as well as a couple more that were payware and simply was not impressed with them. The web-based one on the other hand is simple but more than enough. In response to some of the statements regarding the use of checklists on actual flight decks: I don't know what videos you were watching, but the ones I own clearly show the first officer using them during all phases of preflight, flight and postflight. Seriously...... most of us are computer pilots. We can get away with the missed step here and there without any RL consequences, but how would you feel if you were on a REAL flight and found out that your flight deck crew neglected to use checklists??? I am not a pilot. I am an engineering technician working for the world's largest manufacturer of semiconductor processing equipment. Even though I have tested and calibrated literally hundreds of the same subassemby, I STILL have my test procedures in front of me and open to the current step of testing. There are many examples of complacent crew being key factors in major airliner accidents because the crew was "too experienced" to have to use checklists. -Michael Tucker-

I don't have an iPad, but it works fine on my android phone. Kevin Hall
well I have none. I have a phone running on windows 6.

You could always open the app in your internet browser. It's a web based app, not a phone app.Kevin Hall

I'm sorry Brian, I didn't mean to criticise your pricing. Like others have said, if it was available on Android I'd seriously consider buying it. Kevin Hall

No worries, Kevin. If the iPhone/iPod version shows that the demand for mobile apps for Flight Sim products is there (the jury is still out... mobile apps are really the niche of the niche), I'll definitely be looking at expanding into Android and the iPad. Cheers,

Thanks Kris for a nice app! I noticed a couple of things.. Firstly there's no input box for the approach altimeter, and on the Procedures theres a couple of little spelling mistakesPreflight procedure... Ground Chart should be Ground CartHeat and Anti-Ice... Windows Heat should be Window heat.Cleared for Takeoff... TO/GO should be TO/GALanding.. 80 Knots should be 60 knots (i think!)Secure Cockpit... Vertifu APU should be Verify APU Also a couple of places the ON and SET etc are in lowercase instead of uppercase. And if I'm being really nitpicky 'if needed' and 'when needed' are usually shown as 'As Needed'! Otherwise, excellent job, thanks a lot for making this!
