My liveries are gone after HotFix from Aug. 16

Featured Replies

Hello All I loaded the Hotfix on Aug. 16. I had 3 liveries (Westjet, Delta, and one other) loaded and running after the release day of the 737NGX. These liveries are now missing when I try and load the aircraft in FS. When I run the livery manager, I get an error of "Texture Folder Already exists". It won't overwrite when I clock OK. Just keep getting a request to rename the texture. I am sure it is something small I am overlooking, but any advice on how to reload my liveries would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help. Hello, as far as i know, the liveries have to be reinstalled after the installation of the hotfix! And its is possible that you need to fix the domelight too - there is a sticky thread in the forum. regardsChris

Kevin, That's why the shipped readme.txt file is called just that! ;) You need to uninstall the liveries or the LM will go out of sync.Manually delete the texture folders (but not the house livery folders) and run the LM again. Hope it helps,

You should have uninstalled thru livery manager before intstalling the hotfix. However now you probably go into your fsx simobjects folder and delete the repaints, then reinstall. Cheers, Glen You beat me to it Matt! Glen

Thanks Guys. Problem solved. Will pay better attention to the readme's next time. RegardsKevin Garner

I just had a thought - perhaps the Livery Manager would be better not to list the default (and requred) paints so they cannot be removed in error? :)
