Throttle Position and override

Recommended Posts

My CH throttles change power settings when the autothrottles are on. I do have the parameter set to show throttle position but not sure why moving the throttles change power. Is there another setting?

In the CDU there is an option to change this between 3 settings.

I guess I do not know which setting to choose. I want the AT to override hardware throttle movement while having the NGX showing me the current hardware throttle position.

Well you can't have both as A/T moves the throttles by itself, and yours stay stationary.

What I mean is, when autothrottle is connected, it moves the NGX's throttle controls forward/back as necessary. The software cannot also move your hardware throttles along with the NGX's

There is seperate settings in the CDU for showing your hardware throttle position and hardware A/T override. One is in Aircraft/Equipment 2/12 The other is in Options/Simulation 2/2

I am having difficulty aligning the physical position of my goflight throttle handles with that set by the A/T. I see the cyan arc on the N1 gauge, but cannot reduce the arc length to zero and align it with the white mark. All that happens is that the power setting temporarily alters before the autothrottle assumes control again. The cyan arc stubbornly remains. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
