They appear to be saved in the FSX\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState folder.

If you use the autosave facility in FSUIPC then add the code below to the [autosave] section of the FSUIPC.ini so that you do not end up with 1000's of orphaned files building up over time.

AlsoManage1=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.fmcAlsoManage2=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.savAlsoManage3=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.0.rte

Cheers, Andy.

I do use the FSUIPC4 autosave utility but when loading an already autosaved flight sometimes it works (rare) but most of the times it does not (avionic off, black CDUs, etc..) Do you experience such an issue ? The FSUIPC4 autosave feature works fine with all of my other addons

It works fine for me, dont forget to choose the previous flight save for the default panel state on startup too.

"It works fine for me, dont forget to choose the previous flight save for the default panel state on startup too" Thanks Andy but what is the right order to proceed ? From the FSX load list : 1) load the FSUIPC autosave flight and, when the flight is loaded2) load the previous flight save for the default panel state this way 1) 2) ? or the other way 2) 1) ? Just to let you know please find below the answer I got from Paul Gollnick/Manager Customer Support/Precision Manuals Development Group to my last ticket related to FSUIPC Autosave : "As outlined in the Introduction section of the manual, we HIGHLY RECOMMEND AGAINST USING FSUIPC AUTOSAVE features. The features has been known to cause both crashes and freezes with the NGX and it should be disabled whenever you use the 737NGX. AFAIK there is nothing about FSUIPC autosave feature into the NGX Intro manual

Previous Flight is my default flight in FSX and the 737 FMC, it just works, I don't have to do anything special to get it to load in the state it was in when I last exited the sim. PMDG support policies are similar to Aerosofts, they will not guarantee a fully functioning product with any other add-on installed, they only guarantee it to work on a vanilla install of FSX. I am not saying they won't try to help you at all, but rather than try and work out what the problem is with FSUIPC, if there really is one, they would rather tell people not to use an add-on instead. The only glitch I have now with the NGX is when I start and stop the engines the reverser for the engine I'm dealing with at the time deploys to reverse idle, strangely the iFly does it as well, so it's either a feature I've never heard of or its a bug specific to my setup.

Cheers, Andy.

I added this but of code in the INI but the NGX just keeps filling up with more FMC Panel states, did I do something wrong?

Add these three lines to the end of [AutoSave] in the FSUIPC.ini file.

AlsoManage5=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.sav

AlsoManage6=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.0.rte

AlsoManage7=PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\*.FLT.fmc

Change the AlsoManage to 1, 2, 3 from 5, 6, 7.

Also read page 14 of FSUIPC4 for Advanced Users which can be found at FSX\Modules\FSUIPC Documents. This will help you understand what you are doing.

it still keep not deleting them

I can't get at the FSUIPC.ini right now that I am using. I can access the file late in the morning (EDT) and let you know the results of a comparison of your [AutoSave] section and the one that I am using.

I only see two significant differences. In mine these lines appear after AutoSaveEnabled=Yes. J have no idea where they came from, what they mean or if they change after a flight.

1=Tue 084259

2=Tue 085259

3=Sat 084505

4=Sat 084604

5=Sat 083709

6=Sat 083808

7=Sat 083908

8=Sat 084007

9=Sat 084107

10=Sat 084206

And the second and maybe the most significant difference. You are using P3D and I am using FSX
